Bulgaria has updated entry rules for Ukrainians

Today, May 27, Bulgaria has updated the rules for entering the country. This was reported on Facebook by the consular department of the Ukrainian Embassy in Bulgaria.

According to the new decision of the Bulgarian Ministry of Health, from June 1 to July 31, 2021, citizens of Ukraine can enter the territory of Bulgaria in the presence of one of three documents, which must indicate the personal data of a person in accordance with the passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad:

– vaccination certificate – the date of birth, dates of vaccination, the trade name and batch number of the COVID-19 vaccine, the name of the manufacturer / holder of the marketing authorization, the country in which it was issued and the name of the competent authority that issued it must be indicated;

– certificate of a negative PCR test result on COVID-19 taken 72 hours before the border crossing, or a negative result of a rapid antigen test carried out 48 hours before entering the country – the document must contain information about the laboratory that conducted the study (name, address and contacts), date testing, as well as the method (PCR or RAT) and the negative result (Negativ) are prescribed in the Latin alphabet;

– document of a COVID-19 patient, which shows a positive result of a PCR test for COVID-19 or a rapid antigen test for persons who have had COVID-19 in the period from 15 to 180 days from the date of the study indicated in the document – the document must contain information about the laboratory that conducted the study (name, address and contacts), date of testing, as well as the method (PCR or RAT) and a positive result (Positive) are spelled out in Latin letters.

Children under 5 years old are allowed to enter Bulgaria without providing the above documents.

People who are in transit in Bulgaria and can guarantee immediate departure do not need to provide vaccination documents, negative PCR test or positive antibody test.
