A request for capacity commitment at the Revythousa terminal has reached, according to sources in the Ministry of Energy, the gas system administrator, DESFA.
It is recalled that in the context of the plans to ensure the adequacy of the Greek energy system, a scenario was considered to help Greece through the Revythousa station to meet the needs of other countries such as Bulgaria.
In terms of the capacity of the Revythousa station, it reaches 225 thousand cubic meters. Yesterday, a cargo of 105 thousand cubic meters arrived at the station on behalf of PPC, which is expected to remain in the warehouses of Revythousa for 18 days.
According to the plan for dealing with the crisis, in case Revythousa is called to strengthen the adequacy of the Greek system alone, it can meet the demand of 20 thousand megawatt days per day, while if the station needs to strengthen Bulgaria, then it will be able to meet demand. 65 thousand megawatts a day.
