Burger King, one of the largest fast food chains in the world, has launched the Real Meals NFT initiative, under which the chain’s customers will be able to receive collectible tokens (NFT).
The Burger King Real Meals NFT program is part of a broader campaign called “Keep It Real Meals,” which has drawn a variety of celebrities such as Nelly, Anitta and LILHUDDY.
Around 6 million Burger King food boxes will have special QR codes that give shoppers digital collectibles. Upon reaching a certain number of such items, the client will be able to access the NFT, and they, in turn, give access to various rewards. For example, free whoppers for a year, autographed merchandise, or even “the only chance in my life to meet any of the stars of the campaign.”
Let’s remind that earlier the American beer producer Budweiser became interested in the NFT sphere. The company bought a non-fungible token (NFT) depicting a space rocket, as well as the domain name beer.eth. The purchases amounted to about $ 120,000.
Coca-Cola also sold the NFT collection at the end of July. The funds received were sent to the organizing committee of the World Special Olympics.
