A bus with 24 people overturned in the early hours of this Friday (29), after falling into a hole in the highway, in Minas Gerais.
The Fire Department was called at around 3:40 am to respond to an incident on the BR-262 highway, at km 130, in Rio Casca, a municipality located around 200 kilometers from the capital, Belo Horizonte.
The fire team arrived at the scene, where the vehicle was overturned in an erosion point on the right bank of the road. According to authorities, the 24 passengers were outside the bus and were waiting on the side of the highway.
In total, 3 people requested assistance from the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) and they had either minor injuries or were feeling unwell due to the shock of the accident.
A company support bus was requested and relocated the passengers. Everyone was released on site by the SAMU team, which provided support to the military.
In the last update, there is still no information about the removal of the vehicle and the history of the route the group was taking.
