Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Florida, hosts Latin culture festivals this May

The visitors of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay theme park in Florida in the United States, will be able to enjoy a special program inspired by Latin America during the month of May.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, between the 5th and the 21st, the venue will host the festivals “Cinco de Mayo” and “Viva La Música” which will bring together shows of local musical rhythms and typical foods from countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba and Ecuador.

The idea is for participants to take a cultural and gastronomic journey through these places, tasting typical delicacies such as feijoada; ceviche; soft beef and plantain; Venezuelan arepas; tres leches cake, sweet rice pudding; salad with steak and chimichurri, for example.

They will also have at their disposal a selection of special Argentinean and Chilean wines, in addition to traditional drinks, which include Caipirinha, from Brazil, and Margarita, Michelada and Paloma, typical Mexican cocktails.

The musical programming, in turn, will be due to live presentations of salsa, merengue and Tex-Mex, which will take place on Saturdays and Sundays – and on this first Friday of the month (5).

Busch Gardens brings together different attractions and is known for its extreme roller coasters and thrilling rides. In February, the world’s tallest and fastest swing opened at the site. The space also houses an accredited zoo with thousands of animals of more than 200 species.

Tickets for the Latin festivals are already included in the park ticket price. Meals and drinks must be purchased separately.
