Businessman tells PF that he made private aircraft available to Daniel Silveira

Businessman Otávio Fakhoury, who is president of the Brazilian Labor Party (PTB) in São Paulo, told the Federal Police (PF) that he had placed a private jet at the disposal of federal deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ).

According to Fakhoury, the value of the movement was R$ 10 thousand, paid by the parliamentarian himself.

With that, Silveira managed to attend two Bolsonarist protests in Rio de Janeiro, Niterói and Copacabana beach, and was also present on Avenida Paulista, in São Paulo.

On May 4, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), had ordered the Federal Police to hear the businessman.

According to him, Daniel Silveira’s wife said that the parliamentarian would miss the flight and asked Fakhoury to give up the aircraft.

The businessman, who is investigated in another investigation and in this one is just a witness, also said that because there was a pardon and because the parliamentarian was not wearing an anklet, he did not think he was violating a court order.

The parliamentarian is prohibited from going to public places.
