The São Paulo Court of Justice (TJSP) received a report of rape against businessman Thiago Brennand and decreed, last Monday (6), the fourth preventive arrest against him.
On social media, former beauty queen and medical student Stefanie Cohen, who accuses the businessman of having doped and raped her, vented “I could come here to celebrate, pretend to be happy, I could adopt an ‘instagrammable’ behavior, but I’m not like that. Today has been one of the hardest days of my life since this journey began. I’m living trying not to remember everything that happened to me, but it’s really hard. I keep thinking that I was still lucky not to be in false imprisonment like so many others. ”, She said.
A CNN , Cohen claimed that during a dinner, he drugged her with a drink “I was extremely disoriented”. It was then that he took the student to a hotel in São Paulo, where the abuse took place, in October 2021.
The next morning, Stefanie reports that she woke up, opened the bedroom door and saw an armed security guard, Brennand was in another room.
To leave the hotel, the armed security guard took her away. “He wanted me to take my things and go to the Boa Vista Condominium, (where the businessman has already kept another woman in private prison), but I managed to escape and flee to the gated community where I live”, she says.
When she arrived at her apartment, she says that Brennand forwarded an intimate video threatening her.
Since then, the two never saw each other again. He sent her a message asking her to testify on his behalf the day he left the country. Stefanie didn’t answer.
After the businessman’s preventive arrest was decreed, Cohen commented on the news on social networks, “I put my face on TV knowing the type of person who would go against it. Today comes another preventive arrest of one of the biggest monsters this country has ever seen. I will never be like before, nothing will change that, but I did the right thing.”
The process runs in secrecy of justice. Thiago Brennand is considered a fugitive by the São Paulo Civil Police.
