In addition to Trajano, the current president of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES ), Gustavo Montezano, the CEO of Suzano, Walter Schalka, and the CEO of CETESB, Patrícia Iglecias.

Luiza Trajano became the CEO of Magazine Luiza, founded by her aunt in 1991, and held the position until 2015. Currently, she is one of the richest people in Brazil, with an estimated net worth of R$ 6.6 billion, according to Revista Forbes.

The market opening on the New York Stock Exchange takes place around 10:30 am, Brasília time, while the closing takes place until 17:00.

Bells have been used to mark the beginning and end of negotiations since the 1870s, but it was not until 1903 that traditional metal bells were adopted, replacing a Chinese gong.

This Monday, the closing bell will be rung by the CEO of know Benedito Braga, to mark the 20th anniversary of the company’s listing on the NYSE.
