This application is a BusyBox installer for Android. The application contains assembly BusyBox v1.31.1, which includes 374 applets, is the assembly with the most complete set of functions. Supported installation of BusyBox from the application and from the recovery via a zip archive (see “Menu – Zip archive”).
To install BusyBox on the system, you need superuser (root) rights, but you can use the busybox utilities without superuser rights. To do this, just enter the following command in any Android terminal:
export PATH=/data/data/ru.meefik.busybox/files/bin:$PATH
BusyBox contains tiny versions of many UNIX utilities in one small executable file. It provides replacements for most of the utilities found in GNU fileutils, shellutils, and others. BusyBox utilities generally have fewer features than their full-featured GNU counterparts, but those included in BusyBox are compatible with those of the GNU utilities. BusyBox provides a fairly complete environment for any mobile or embedded system.
