Founded by engineers Francisco Azevedo and Francisco Travassos, in June 1922, Azevedo & Travassos is a fundamental part of the history of Brazilian infrastructure. Over its 100 years, the company has followed several transformations and participated in important works for the progress of the country.

“In the first decades, the founders participated in many railroad implementation projects. In the following decades, they participated in the construction of many highways and also in the implementation of the first hydroelectric plants in the country”, says Gabriel Freire, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Azevedo & Travassos.
