The cable of a gym equipment broke and hit a student in the face, on September 18, in Maracanaú, in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza.
Abraão Viana, known as Menino Juan, explained that he left the seat of the equipment a little higher, which ended up causing his head to be higher than normal and being hit.
Viana stated that she is fine and taking medication after the incident.
According to the Corpo em Ação academy, the machine did not fail.
“The injury caused to student Juan when the cable broke occurred due to the fact that he was in an inappropriate position, with his head away from the backrest. But again we provide all pre-hospital care due and appropriate to the situation”, they said.
