The Santa Catarina Civil Police arrested last Sunday (18) a man suspected of murdering the 69 -year -old Rosa Inês de Souza on April 28. The crime occurred in Joinville (SC), about 180 kilometers from Florianópolis.
The investigated, who has a record of hunter, shooter and collector (CAC), would have committed the crime because he did not accept the rental charges by the victim. The suspect was captured in Curitiba (PR) and the weapon used in the murder was seized.
According to the delegate Dirceu Augusto da Silveira Junior, head of the Joinville Homicide Police Station, the crime occurred a few hours after the victim went to the suspect’s house to charge the arrears. “Who was in default was the investigated. There was pending rent and light and water accounts. Even on the day, the victim was at his house to make the charge,” said the delegate.
The same night, around 7 pm, both were bicycle when the suspect fired three shots on his back at the elderly woman who died on the spot. The weapon used in the crime was legally recorded. “The gun was not irregular. He is CAC, had registered weapons,” explained the delegate.
