Two criminals, both 19, died on Wednesday night after trying to rob a 51-year-old man on Portugal Avenue, west of São Paulo. The victim, who has a collector, shooter and hunter (CAC) record, reacted to the approach and shot the suspects, who died at the scene.
According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), the robbers were on a motorcycle. One of them announced the theft and took the cell phones of the man and one of his children, who was also present. The criminal even triggered, but did not hit the victim. Following, the man reacted and fired the shots.
The Military Police were fired at 8:50 pm and found the suspects killed at the scene. Subsequently, the PM located an abandoned vehicle on Michigan Street, which would be linked to the criminal action.
Also according to the SSP, the two dead men were investigated for involvement in the murder of a delegate earlier this year in the south of the capital. One of them was also suspected of other crimes in the same region.
During the incident, the CAC weapon, a 38 -caliber revolver in possession of the robbers and the abandoned vehicle were seized. The case was registered in the 27th Police District (Campo Belo), which requested expert examinations.
The man was filed for illegal possession of a firearm of allowed use. The bail was arbitrated and paid, and he was released.
