On social media, Caetano Veloso said that he intends to go on a “radical vacation period” after the last shows of the “Meu Coco” tour in Salvador, this weekend.
The singer has shows scheduled for this Friday (15), Saturday (16) and Sunday (17) at Concha Acústica, in the capital of Bahia.
“I’m 81 years old and I come from a very busy series of activities. I ask my friends, colleagues, acquaintances and strangers to consider my decision to take the rest I need. After the shows at Concha I will go on a radical vacation”, he said in a post on Instagram.
Caetano also added that he does not want to receive invitations for anything during this period.
“I ask that you do not invite me to public activities, participation, give interviews or express opinions, record videos, write releases and other texts or any other activity, especially those who know that I would be most touched by their calls.”
