The 79-year-old Bahian singer-songwriter Caetano Veloso is with Covid-19. The information was confirmed with his wife, businesswoman Paula Lavigne, who also tested positive for the disease.
Caetano took the Covid-19 test after Paula tested positive. On Wednesday (22), after a series of trips across the country, they landed in Bahia.
She was feeling tired and decided to get tested. With the positive result, the whole family underwent testing, but only she and the singer have the disease.
Caetano is immunized with three doses of the vaccine. The businesswoman would take the third dose on the fourth, when she took the test.
“Caetano is not feeling anything. Zero. I’m just really tired. Only. Really, we have to encourage people to get the vaccine, because it works,” said Paula Lavigne to CNN.
