Cairo hosts meetings between Fatah and Hamas

Cairo is hosting meetings between Fatah and Hamas for talks on setting up a Gaza governing committee as part of post-war plans, a senior Egyptian security source told Al Qahera News TV. This move develops in the context of Egypt’s mediation efforts with the participation of the Palestinian and Israeli sides to achieve a cease-fire, but also to extend the access of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
