Caixa announced, this Tuesday (16), that it will maintain the payment schedule for Brazil Aid in accordance with what was foreseen in the former Bolsa Família.
In the last ten working days of the month, the value of the program will be transferred to the beneficiaries. On Wednesday (17), those with an end of 1 in the NIS number will start receiving aid.
Individuals can collect the amounts at lotteries, Caixa agencies and through the Caixa Tem application, which contains all the instructions on Auxílio Brasil.

In a speech, the president of Caixa, Pedro Guimarães, said that the Bolsa Família application will be reused for Auxílio Brasil. This means that people who had the old app don’t need to download a new one, it will be automatically reprogrammed to change its name.
It was also announced that information that individuals did not have with Emergency Assistance, such as consulting benefits and installments, will now be made available through the Caixa Tem application.
The bank’s branches will have their opening hours reduced and will return to their usual hours starting on November 23, opening at 10 am, according to Pedro Guimarães.
