The president of Caixa Econômica, Daniella Marques, announced this Thursday (6th) that the payroll loan of Auxílio Brasil will be released between October 10th and 15th. According to Marques, technical and administrative issues still need to be resolved.
The bank is responsible for paying the Auxílio Brasil. The intention is to reduce debts through cheaper interest rates. The bank has called the modality “conscious credit”.
Marques explained that the payroll rate linked to the aid will be less than 3.5%. Registered banks will have Auxílio Brasil deposits as payment guarantee. According to a decree on financing released in August this year, it will be possible to commit up to 40% of the benefit, that is, a maximum of R$ 160 in up to 24 installments.
During the announcement of the launch of the debt renegotiation program “Você no Azul” this Thursday in São Paulo, the president of the bank said that it is working for the low-income public and that the profile of most debts is overdraft and credit card.
