An alarm was sounded on Wednesday (23/8) at bar in California when a gunman opened fire, killing three people and even more injured, local police announced, adding that a suspect is also dead.
“We have confirmed four deaths at the scene, including the shooter,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported via X (formerly Twitter). He added that six other people “were taken to hospital, five of them with bullet wounds”.
During the incident there was “involvement” of a police officer, the same source added, according to the Athens News Agency, implying that the perpetrator he fell dead from his own fire. No police officer was injured, he said.
Earlier, local television station KABC, part of the ABC News national network, reported 2 deaths in the Orange County, Calif., community of Trumpico Canyon in the incident at a bar-restaurant frequented by bikers.
