California sues Amazon for violating law by blocking price competition

California filed a lawsuit against Amazon on Wednesday, claiming the company violated antitrust law by blocking price competition.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta said Amazon’s rules prevent merchants from selling products at lower prices on their own websites or in the stores of Amazon’s rivals.
