Calliope renews its commitment alongside UNICEF to help many vulnerable children in the world, but with something new: It is up to consumers to decide which of the organization’s programs to allocate funds to. And thus contribute to the change.
In fact, during the year, Calliope has created several online activations to raise awareness among the public and its customers on childhood issues and to support some UNICEF projects. In particular, in three moments, topics such as responsible parenting and thermal care for premature babies, girls’ education, and digital learning to support teachers and education in emergencies.
For each activity Calliope asked its customers to indicate which UNICEF project to support. During each activation, Calliope customers also had the opportunity to make additional donations via QR-Codes at the cash registers and links on the brand’s channels. An important awareness-raising activity, followed by a donation from the company.
“We thank Calliope for having decided to support UNICEF also in 2024. This gesture shows great sensitivity and attention for the future of the most vulnerable children” – declared Paolo Rozera, Director General of UNICEF Italy. «These synergies allow UNICEF to reach and help so many children in the world who need our interventions to grow and survive. Many children in the world live in poverty, suffer the consequences of wars, climate crisis and conflicts and need all our support.»

In particular, on the occasion of the Back to School campaign, based on the votes expressed in the survey carried out, Calliope will contribute to distribute 172 School in a Boxeach containing school supplies for 40 children and one teacher, to benefit over 6,000 children living in emergency conditions.
