Cameras at the Integrated Center for Public Order and Security in Maricá, in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, recorded the exact moment in which a small plane had to make a forced landing on the city’s beach on the afternoon of last Wednesday (10).
Jose Carlos Rizk Jr., president of the Brazilian Bar Association of Espírito Santo (OAB-ES), was one of the passengers on the aircraft and was traveling with a client to a professional meeting in Rio de Janeiro. Watch the video below.
In the images, released by the City of Maricá, It is possible to track when the plane loses altitude and heads towards the beach. Immediately afterwards, the single-engine aircraft makes a turn and continues its landing movement towards the sand on the shore.
On social media, lawyer and university professor José Carlos reported, on the night of the incident, that the single-engine plane had dragged itself along the sand of the beach for about 400 meters until the final landing.
After the forced landing, no one was injured and everyone is fine.
No one was injured in the accident.
