Cameron Diaz found a good reason to return to acting after a decade

The actress Cameron Diaz 52, is, literally, “Back In Action “. That’s the title of his new film Netflix with Jamie Foxx, 57, the actress’s first feature film in ten years.

During a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Diaz said that Foxx is the reason for his return to Hollywood. “I spent 10 years not paying attention to anything,” she said.

“I wasn’t accepting any offers and then I got this script and thought maybe it was time.”

“If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day, I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment world,” Diaz said. The two are old friends having acted together in “Um Domingo Any” in 1999 and “Annie” in 2014.

Diaz, who began her career as a model and starred in several successful films such as “Who’s Gonna Be With Mary?”, didn’t sit still. In addition to being a wife and mother (she and her husband, the musician Benji Madden have two children), she is also a successful author and businesswoman.

I loved these 10 years for me and my family “, she said of her time away from film sets. “But I thought, ‘If I let this go, if I don’t get involved again, and if I don’t give it a chance, I’m a fool.’”

“It’s a privilege to make films, and we are all so lucky to do what we do,” she said on the show. “The fact that the door was still open to me after a decade was amazing.”
