It seems like it’s almost becoming a habit to wake up in the morning and find news of couples you love who just broke up. I was just recovering from that of Zayn and Gigi which I already have to get used to another goodbye, the one between Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes.

The two shared on their respective stories on Instagram a very dry and concise message in which it is said that their love story is over, but not the good that they want. and that in fact they will continue to be what they were at the beginning that is best friends. And these words in its simplicity appear totally incomprehensible because, just a few weeks ago, the two showed themselves more close than ever during the Halloween parties they attended.

Since it is a bolt from the blue, it is not yet what happened, what led them to break up after two years of relationship. Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes started dating in July 2019 and since then they have been practically inseparable: they spent the entire quarantine together and then continued to live together. And, let’s face it, they seemed like the dream couple par excellence: he who told how she had helped him grow and mature and had been helpful in difficult moments, she who explained how the singer had been fundamental in his career to make the right decisions, but also to grow as a woman. In short, those relationships that, at least in appearance, seem healthy, special and that we would all like to have.
