In reality, the conclusion had already been reached in recent days, when Giorgi removed herself from the anti-doping protocol, a choice which in fact amounts to a withdrawal because it excludes the athlete from the circuit. According to some rumors leaked in the last few hours, Camila Giorgi would have problems with the tax authorities and is not currently in Italy. The thirty-two year old tennis player – writes the Corriere della Sera – she should have presented herself to the Guardia di Finanza on April 13th to clarify some inconsistencies in her income declarations, but that meeting never took place. In addition to this problem, there would also be an investigation launched by the Florence Prosecutor's Office against the tennis player and her family, due to gaps and inconsistencies in the accounts. Fake news, Giorgi implied on social media, which for the moment does not shed light on the situation.

What is certain is that she is not in danger, as had been hypothesized in the first hours of her disappearance and who knows, she may soon show up again with other revelations. Giorgi could be seen again in Italy on July 16, when she should appear before the investigating judge in Vicenza for the investigation into fake Covid vaccines. Giorgi is accused of having asked for the green pass without being vaccinated, as are other well-known names, including the singer Madame.
