Recently, Camila Pitanga used social media to share a rare photo alongside his mother, Vera Manhães, currently 73 years old.
Taking advantage of International Women's Day, celebrated last Friday (8), the actress declared all her love for the matriarch.
“It is in struggle and affection that we find each other. So many who came, who are there and who will follow. Women of my love, of my blood, of my origins…”, wrote the artist on Instagram.
See the record:
Camila is the result of Antonio Pitanga's relationship with Vera, which was successful in the 1970s. On TV Globo, for example, she was part of the cast of soap operas such as “Ice Brown” from 1979 and “The Tacky” from 1971. His last work on screen was “Roque Santeiro” in 1985.
Her departure from the artistic world was due to mental health problems in the 80s. Thus, Camila and her brother, Rocco, were raised by their father, after the couple separated.
“Our father had more psychological structure to raise us. My mother alternated between moments of affection and isolation,” the actress revealed to TPM magazine in 2009.
