The influencer and former BBB Camilla de Lucas reported, through social networks, having experienced an episode of racism this Wednesday (14) during a Copa Airlines business class flight. She was returning to Brazil after participating in New York Fashion Week, in the United States.
Through videos posted on Instagram stories, Camilla explained that, although the flight was full, only she was asked if she was, in fact, in the correct seat.
“The flight is full and all the seats are here, but the woman just came to ask for my seat, if I was actually sitting here. The woman just came to ask for my card to see if this is really my place. only mine. The entire flight was full and she didn’t ask to see anyone’s seat but mine,” she vented.
Camilla also added, on Twitter, that when asking security why she had only asked for her card, the collaborator replied that “it was to know”.
Copa Airlines was approached by CNN but has not returned contact so far.
