A virtual campaign managed to raise more than R$ 600 thousand (US$ 120 thousand) for Lynne Mishele, whose home was destroyed after the collision of a vehicle driven by actress Anne Heche, last Friday (5).
The accident in Los Angeles, in the United States, caused a fire that engulfed the property and the car. Lynne was at the scene but was not injured. Heche, on the other hand, has been in a coma, in a serious condition, since the incident.
Firefighters said it took more than an hour to “access, confine and fully extinguish the flames within the heavily damaged structure.”
Neighbors responsible for promoting the cow said in the description of the page that Lynne lived in the house with two dogs and a turtle, but was forced to leave after the accident.
“Even more distressing is that Lynne has lost her entire life of possessions, souvenirs, all of her business equipment including her laptop and iPad, all of her clothing and basic necessities, and all of her household items. With the help of firefighters, she managed to remove some damaged sentimental belongings from the wreckage,” they said.
According to Los Angeles Police Department officer Annie Hernandez, police are awaiting the results of a blood test performed on Anne on the day of the accident to determine if she was intoxicated.
Once the investigation is complete, the case will be referred to the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office, Hernandez added.
The Hollywood actress suffered “severe burns and has a long recovery ahead of her,” a source told CNN. “His team and family are still trying to process what led up to the accident.”
