For three decades, a group of artists have been creating works at the art studio, Jamaica Street Studios in the bohemian enclave of Bristol that is considered Banksy's spiritual home. But painters, filmmakers, sculptors and illustrators are now fighting to save the studio, which sits opposite one of legendary street artist Banksy's most famous works, 'Mild Mild West', and help preserve of the character of one of Bristol's most distinctive neighbourhoods, according to a report in The Guardian newspaper. The group of artists was given the opportunity to own the building, which houses the studio. But the artists worry that if they don't raise the funds in time, the building could be put on the market and bought by a construction company.
