Political newcomer Whitney Fox, the Democratic candidate for Florida’s 13th congressional district, is hopeful that the furor over the rollback of abortion rights will carry her to victory. Fox is openly challenging Republican incumbent Anna Paulina Luna, a staunch ally of Donald Trump and a self-proclaimed “pro-life extremist,” on her promise to champion women’s autonomy, the FT reports.
