The Armed Forces of India and Pakistan are currently exchanging a fierce artillery fire on their controversial borders in Kashmir, a few hours after the Indian air bombings on Pakistani territory in retaliation for the April 22 attack. This new conflict is now marking a shift from the traditional geopolitical alliances of the wider region, while according to the New York Times, India’s controversy with Pakistan is actually a US controversy with China when it comes to sales of weapons.
