Canada: Trudeau moves to Yukon tonight after yesterday’s downed flying object

The Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau moves tonight to Yukon, in northwestern Canada, where authorities are working to collect the wreckage of a of unidentified object shot down yesterday, during a joint operation by Washington and Ottawa.

During his trip, which was coincidentally scheduled for later, Trudeau will meet with indigenous leaders “who may have been affected by the descent of the object”and on Monday, the premier of that province, Rani Pillai, told Canadian media today.

Citizen safety is our top priority and for that reason I have made the decision that this unidentified object must be brought down“, he said, adding that this object had endangered civilian aircraft.

The destruction of this flying object, which was shot down by a US F-22 fighter jet on the joint decision of Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden, occurred less than 24 hours after another object was shot down over Alaska and a week after off South Carolina of a Chinese balloon which Washington accuses of being a spy.

The decision to neutralize the object flying over the Yukon was made to “precautionary reasons and with the constitution of the armed forces“, announced the US government.

Originally, Trudeau’s trip to the area was aimed at celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Yukon Council of First Nations.
