During his statements, Canadian Prime Minister Pleny stressed that it is unlikely that the US Ceda in the tariffs proposed on wood specifically against Canada. However, Prime Minister’s statements highlighted a particular difficulty faced by most US business partners since Donald Trump assumed the presidency just 66 days ago: the Trump administration has done a bad job by communicating its own message about tariffs, and no one who tries to do business with the US. It is clear about what President Trump wants.
