THE Primavera Sound announced, this Thursday (24), the line-up of the next edition of the city of Barcelona in Spain, where the festival was born. The event will take place between the days June 4th and 8th, 2025 in the capital of Catalonia and will bring together some of the biggest names in world music this year.
Chappell Roan , Charli XCX and Sabrina Carpenter top the list of attractions, which also has FKA Twigs, LCD Soundsystem , Fontaines DC and Parcels ; the last two are confirmed at Lollapalooza Brasil 2025, and will perform at the Autódromo de Interlagos on March 28th and 30th, respectively.
Both Charli XCX as FKA Twigs were present at the last edition of Primavera Sound in Barcelona, which took place between May 30th and June 1st. Justice, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure, Lana Del Rey , SZA and The National were some of the festival’s main attractions.
How to buy tickets for Primavera Sound in Barcelona?
Tickets for Primavera Sound in Barcelona go on sale on Monday (28), at 6am Brasília time, at official festival website. Initially, only Full Festival Tickets, which give access to all days of shows, will be available; prices range from 265.50 (around R$1640) to 495 euros (around R$3,050).
Only those who have completed the registration form, which is now available on the Primavera Sound website, will be able to purchase tickets on Monday. The general sale only opens on Tuesday (29), also at 6 am Brasília time.
Primavera Sound in Brazil
At the end of August, after weeks of speculation, Primavera Sound announced the cancellation of the 2024 edition of the festival in São Paulo. The event has already taken place twice in São Paulo (2023 and 2024) and hosted names such as Arctic Monkeys, Travis Scott, The Cure and Lorde.
“Our reunion plans scheduled for the end of November and beginning of December this year, with festivals in Buenos Aires and São Paulo and Primavera Day in Montevideo and Asunción, unfortunately will have to wait”, says the statement published by the festival organization in Brazil .
“The current circumstances lead us to announce that Primavera Sound will not take place in Latin America in 2024, due to external difficulties that prevent us from holding the events at the level that the public that supports them so much deserves”, continues the note.
