The 78th edition of the Cannes Festival starts this Tuesday (13), with the Brazilian cinema as one of the protagonists of the edition. The event will take place at Côte d’Azur, France and will extend until May 24th. In addition, some Brazilians will represent Brazil.
Brazil was chosen to be the honored country of the 78th edition as part of the 200th anniversary celebration of diplomatic relations with France, where the event takes place. Our country will be the host of the opening ceremony of the Marché du Film .
Over the 12 days of event Brazilian audiovisual professionals – such as filmmakers, producers and decision makers of the area – will meet in the city of the French coast for a program with shows of works, presentations and events of networking .
