Capo Plaza, the review of the album Wounds

Cape Plaza is back. Three years after his last album PlazaHere you are Wounds, the new album with which the artist from Salerno recounts his last two years, a period in which he matured both from an artistic and personal point of view. Today Plaza is no longer the young and rising rapper of his early days, he is still very young, but certainly more mature. The wounds, the protagonists of the album, are the ones that marked him during this growth path and which inspired the songs contained in his new album. Growing doesn't necessarily mean changingAnd Wounds is proof of this: although new genres are explored, Cape Plaza remains faithful to his characteristic style, managing to contaminate his new songs with more pop sound.

The collaborations within the album are proof of this: they range from rap artists, that is Anna, Artie5ive, Lazza, Tedua and Tony Boyto our contemporary pop icons, such as Annalisa and Mahmood. For the productions of his new project, Cape Plaza he relied as well as on Avawho has always participated in the making of his records, even with producers like Michelangelo, Merk and Kremont, Night Skinny. The result is a highly introspective album, in which the artist from Campania takes us inside his disappointments and his ambition, managing to make the two aspects coexist with highly conscious songs alternating with more carefree ones, where there is also space to detach from all the problems contained in more thoughtful pieces.

A long journey made of 18 songswhere we start right from Wounds, which gives the title and imprinting to the album, we continue with Thing of the past, piece that anticipated the release of the album and was extracted as singleto then get to the first featuring, the one with Lazzathat is to say Money Rain. This is the first collaboration between the two ed it was made in just one day in the studio. Capo Plaza achieved a record even before his album came out: he was in fact the first Italian artist to debut on Fortnitewhere he performed a digital concert and created a completely customized island, there Plaza Island.
