The municipal vehicle rotation in the city of São Paulo has been suspended from last Friday (25) to Ash Wednesday (2), so the measure prevails this Monday (28).

The restriction on the circulation of vehicles will only be resumed this Thursday (3) for vehicles with final plates 7 and 8.

The rotation restrictions apply to the hours from 7 am to 10 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Each day of the week, the ban affects vehicles with two different license plate endings:

  • 1 and 2 on Mondays;
  • 3 and 4 on Tuesdays;
  • 5 and 6 on Wednesdays;
  • 7 and 8 on Thursdays;
