The presenter Xuxa Meneghel and Ikaro Kadoshi, one of the most recognized drag queen artists in Brazil, take charge of “Caravana das Drags”, a new reality show on Prime Video. Kadoshi was the first drag queen to host Miss Universe on TV (2021)
The first season of the program has ten participants, which were announced this Monday (30) and will have eight episodes, in addition to a special. In them, the competitors travel through eight Brazilian cities (Rio de Janeiro, Goiânia, Diamantina, Salvador, Recife, Fortaleza, São Luís and Belém) so that they have inspirations and repertoire in different traditions.
In addition, they will face challenges from the drag universe and will have to prepare performances that will be evaluated by the presenters and special guests. Thus, with each elimination, one of them gets closer to becoming the Drag Sovereign, that is, the big winner of the “Caravana das Drags”.
Chandelly Kidman, DesiRée Beck, Enme Paixão, Frimes, Gaia do Brasil, Hellena Borgys, Morgante, Ravena Creole, Robytt Moon and Slovakia are the participants of the first season, still without a confirmed premiere date.
