Six people were killed from pyre armed inside a chain supermarket Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia on USAthe municipal authority announced today, clarifying that the perpetrator also died.
“Chesapeake Police confirm seven victims, including the shooter, from the shootings that occurred during last night at the Walmart store» said the municipal authority via Twitter.
A press conference on the shooting at the Walmart supermarket will be held at 8 a.m. (local time), Chesapeake Township said via Twitter.
Walmart said in a statement it was “shocked” by the incident at its Chesapeake store and was cooperating with police.
A spokesman for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital told local TV station WAVY that five injured people were being treated there.
