The samba-enredo composed by singer Anitta for the competition that will elect the official anthem of Unidos da Tijuca for the 2025 parade arrived on music platforms on Thursday night (28).
In the competition, the voice of “Envolver” and “Bellakeo” joins renowned composers such as Diego Nicolau and Fred Camacho, who have already written sambas for schools such as Estácio de Sá, Acadêmicos do Salgueiro and Mocidade Independente de Padre Miguel. Anitta is one of the voices that appears in the recording of the competing samba, alongside Diego Nicolau himself and other performers such as Igor Sorriso (from Salgueiro), Tuninho Jr and Rodrigo Tinoco.

The four-time champion of the Rio carnival will take to Sapucaí in 2024 the plot “Logun-Edé: Santo Menino Que Velho Respeita”, which will tell the story of the orixá headed by Anitta, who has Candomblé as a religion. The parade will be signed by Edson Pereira and the plot was developed by researchers Mateus Pranto and Rodrigo Hilario.
The singer had already used the synopsis of the plot of the Borel school, a hill in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro, as the caption for the publications in which she promoted the video for “Aceita”, which has her experience within religion as the narrative focus. After announcing the theme of the video, Anitta lost more than 200,000 followers on her official Instagram account.
The competition between competitors to become the official anthem of Unidos da Tijuca in 2025 only begins on August 1st. The qualifiers, which will take place on the club’s court, will continue until September 21st, when the school will define the samba that will take to the avenue during Carnival.
The group, which has been without titles for 10 years, will be the first to parade on Carnival Monday (March 3). In the last Carnival, Tijuca came in 11th place, with 265.7 points, just eight tenths above Unidos do Porto da Pedra, which ended up relegated.
