The Marquês de Sapucaí sambadrome, in Rio de Janeiro, receives, from this Friday (28), the parades of the samba schools Gold series . This first night, eight associations cross the avenue presenting its plots.
For the third consecutive year, Band will be responsible for the exclusive transmission of the presentations. The show, starts from the 8:30 pm for the carioca audience, and to 1h For the rest of Brazil, with presentation of JP Vergueiro.

Relegation at Carnival 2025
Earlier this month, the RJ League, responsible for the Gold series associations, decided that Three samba schools will not be judged by the parade and will not be demoted. They were the largest hit by the fires that hit a fantasy factory in branches.
The associations will parade as Hors-Concours, with no possibility of relegation or ascension to the special group.
