The samba schools of São Paulo would define, on Saturday night (17), the order of the carnival parades 2026. The 32 affiliated schools of the Independent League of the samba schools of São Paulo (League-SP), which make up the first three divisions of the São Paulo revelry.
The party took place at the samba factory, in the west of the state capital, and featured shows by Marquinhos Sensa, Eliana de Lima, SP rhythm and pagoda of the stands, as well as all the associations involved in the event.
The definition of the order of the carnival parades of 2026 occurred in the same way adopted for this year’s parade. The choices announced their choices following the order of placement in the previous carnival, starting with the access group 2 and ending with the special group.
The only exception to the rule was the green and white shirt that, involved in a judicial controversy, did not send representatives to the League-SP event. Therefore, despite having ended the carnival since year in fifth place, the Barra Fundo clover took the position that is left for it on Saturday, without being able to choose his place.
