The City of Samba, in Rio de Janeiro, receives, this Friday (11), the draw of the Order of the Parades of the Samba Schools Special group for the Carnival of 2026 .
Keeping the idea of the previous edition, the event will be open to the public, free of charge, just donate 1 kg of non -perishable food. It will also be possible to follow the live broadcast, from 20:30, on the official YouTube of the Carnival river .

The opening of the event will feature the presentation of Cocoa Nascimento. The public will also have the opportunity to follow a Beija-Flor show of Nilópolis, current champion of Rio de Janeiro revelry. The program also has Jorge Aragão and closing with Arruda group.
According to the official regulation, three associations already have their positions guaranteed. They are: Niterói Academics (Champion of the Gold series, which will open the performances on Sunday, February 15), Padre Miguel’s Independent Youth (11th place in the special group, which will be the first to enter the avenue on Monday, February 16) and Paradise of Tuiuti (10th place, which will start the parades on Tuesday, February 17).
The other associations will draw their positions from three groups:
- Hummingbird, Hose and Salgueiro
- Vila Isabel, Unidos da Tijuca and Portela
- Grande Rio, Viradouro and Empress Leopoldinense
