Nilópolis Hummingbird recorded, this month, its historic peak of search made in Brazil on Google, as pointed out for a survey made by CNN On Google Trends this Thursday (20). The association of Baixada Fluminense was the champion of the carnival of 2025 and won its 15th title of the carioca revelry.
The new record even goes beyond the search peak presented in February 2018, when Beija-Flor won its 14th title. At the time, the school of Nilópolis presented the plot “Monster is the one who does not know how to love – the abandoned children of the homeland who gave birth” and delivered his last parade under the Laíla baton, honored from the 2025 parade.
The third largest peak of the association was in February 2020, when blue and white was in fourth place with a plot on the streets and paths of the world. That year, the title went to Unidos do Viradouro.

Hummingbird-related research shows the impact that the school’s title had on the volume of searches in the last 30 days. In the list of surveys related to rising association, appear terms such as “Beija-Flor Champion”, “Beija-Flor President”, “Gabriel David”, “Pinah”, “Hummingbird Bicheiro” and “Who won Carnival 2025”.

Interestingly, the state that led the search for hummingbirds in the last 30 days was Rio de Janeiro and the city was Nilópolis, where this year’s champion association is.
