Carolina Dieckmann recalls rumors about intimate scenes in the soap opera “Vira-Lata”

At 43, the actress opened up about the sex scenes she recorded with her colleague Marcello Novaes 61, in the soap opera “Vira-Lata”, which aired on Globo in 1996.

In an interview with the “Surubaum” program, Dieckmann highlighted the age difference between her and the actor at the time of recording, when she was 16 and he was 33.

“The first soap opera I did that had a lot of sex scenes was a 7pm soap opera, with Marcello Novaes. I was 16 or 17 years old and Marcello [estava] at 33”, he revealed.

The star also regretted having been accused of being the actor's lover, who, at the time, was married to Letícia Spiller.

“He and Letícia were married at the time of that soap opera and when we started being a romantic couple, I was very young. Several articles started to come out saying that we were having an affair”, she recalled.

“So, every time I had to do a sex scene, I was extremely embarrassed because the surroundings were shitty, it was bad. Letícia became pregnant and it was very painful for me”, she continued.

Dieckmann also reported having faced turbulence in his personal love life, which worsened the situation.

“I had a boyfriend, Vitor [Hugo]I broke up at the beginning of this soap opera, and started dating Marcos [Frota] at the end of this soap opera”, he said.

“I was experiencing romantic things outside, and I was dealing with these things… It was very embarrassing to do these scenes. And they were my first sex scenes”, she revealed.

Carolina added that she felt empathy with Letícia's situation amid the rumors.

“I suffered a lot and I never even talked about it, because it was such an aggressive thing to imagine that woman… I thought: 'If I'm suffering, imagine that woman, pregnant, not knowing what's happening'. No matter how much you trust your partner, you don’t know if the person has fallen in love,” concluded Dieckmann.
