Carolina Ferraz’s daughter marries businessman in Malibu, United States

The eldest daughter of presenter and actress Carolina Ferraz, Valentina Ferraz Cohen, married American businessman Samraan Husain after a seven-year relationship.

The union celebration took place on October 11th, in Malibu, California, in the United States, with attendance restricted to 20 guests. For the party, the famous Japanese restaurant Nobu was chosen, located on the beach.

Valentina met her now husband through a friend, while still in college. She studied Econometrics and Quantitative Mathematics with International Relations at Northeastern University in Boston, USA.

“On my first day of school, I met his sister and we became very good friends. A year later, we were introduced and became very good friends too,” she said in an interview with Vogue Brasil magazine.

Valentina is Brazilian and the daughter of an Italian, publicist Mario Cohen. Samraan was born in the United States, raised in Africa and has Taiwanese and Indian parents.

“He introduced me to cultures, foods and familiarized me with things I never thought I would feel comfortable with. My marriage is a mix of many things. There are many Brazilian traditions that I would like to preserve, but part of my fiance’s family follows Indian traditions,” she said.

“Indian weddings are beautiful, with a super cool culture around marriage. The Taiwanese also have specific traditions and a way of getting married. I never imagined anything very specific, other than finding the love of my life, so we had a lot of freedom to do everything our way,” she shared.

Regarding the marriage proposal, she also revealed to the publication that it happened during a walk on the beach.

“I had some suspicions after seven years of dating, but it’s always a surprise,” he said.

Even with a more reserved celebration, there is a desire to have a bigger party.

“Being close to the ocean brings a very powerful and renewing energy, so I thought it would be a wonderful place to celebrate my wedding. We wanted to do this ritual soon, but there are still many possibilities for us to have a party next year”, he revealed to the magazine.

Valentina plans to live in California until the end of this year, when she will have her honeymoon, which has no defined destination yet.

“At the beginning of the year, we have a very special change being planned,” he revealed.

Partnership alongside mother

Since 2021, alongside her mother, the firstborn has served as CEO of Cimples, a brand that operates in Brazil with home decoration items. The presenter signs the creative part.

“I am a happy mother-in-law. I have a dear son-in-law, who I see really likes my daughter, respects her and wants to make her happy. It’s a special moment, and I’m very emotional, because she is marrying someone she loves and chose. I’m the person who is here in the background cheering and sending lots of good energy to the bride and groom”, Carolina also said in an interview with Vogue Brasil.

“Valentina is a great friend of mine, a partner. We are together for life.”, she added.
