Cars float and trees fall. Europe was covered with large hail and storms – video

Heavy storms hit France, Germany and Poland. The hurricane flooded streets, knocked down trees and damaged buildings.

According to The Watchers, about 44,000 lightning strikes were recorded in France over the weekend. The country experienced heavy downpours, heavy hail and tornadoes. In the Laura Valley, a tornado damaged a church. The fallen masonry collapsed on the cars, shattering the windshields. Trees and vines were also felled.

According to PNP.de, in German Bavaria, hail covered the ground so densely that it gave the impression of a real winter.

Also in Pfarrkirchen streets and car parks were flooded as a result of heavy rainfall. Rainstorms stopped draining water as they were clogged with dirt, twigs and leaves.

Poland was also hit by a powerful hurricane on June 22. Heavy rain led to flooding, and gusts of wind blew off roofs and broke trees.

The castle passed over the central part of Malopolska. There was a violent storm in Krakow. Due to the flooded paths, traffic was blocked. Also, the passage through some streets was blocked by fallen trees.
