The process called sketch is a photographic reconstitution of the facts to determine the distance between the shooter, the distance from the rooms and the distance where the bodies were found. This was the first photographic expertise held on site.
According to lawyer Fernando Viggiano, legal representative of the family of actor Rafael Miguel, the expert was a request from the defense of Cupertino, who will go to the popular jury. “(The request) was attached yesterday. It is due to the urgency between the time when the Institute of Criminalistics needs to elaborate the report and the hearing. Therefore the whole urgency,” said Viggiano.
In the morning, the police made tags in the outer places where the shots were fired. In the afternoon, about five police officers had to break into the residence to continue the work after a long wait for a key to enter the house.
Paulo Cupertino Matias is responsible for triple homicide and will go to the popular jury. According to the complaint of the Public Prosecution Service of São Paulo (MPSP), Cupertino had an inauguration relationship with his daughter, Isabela Tibcherani Matias, and did not accept that the young woman was related to Rafael Miguel.
The new jury audience is scheduled for May 29 and 30. Cupertino even went to the jury in October 2024, but dismissed the lawyers in the middle of the session, which had to be postponed.
