Case of foaming fever after 50 years in Hungary

Foam fever was found on a farm in Hungary near the border with Slovakia, the health authorities said today, the first case of this viral disease recorded after 50 years. “Typical symptoms of the disease were recorded in early March on a farm with 1,400 animals” located in a village in northwestern Hungary, the National Food Safety Service said.
