A qualified group of 45 possible jurors was guaranteed for the selection process of Sean’s “Diddy” Comb sex trafficking on Wednesday (7).
The final part of the jury is scheduled for Friday (9), when the court takes up at 10am (Brasília time). The lawyers on each side will take turns in the execution of peremptory exclusions of jurors who wish to eliminate from the group to finally select and swear in a panel of 12 judges and 6 alternates.
Prosecutors will have six exclusions and the Comb defense team will have 10 until the 12 jurors are sworn in. Both sides have three exclusions for alternates.
Combs was present again at court on Wednesday, along with his lawyers.
Still on Wednesday, the parties agreed to wait until Friday to select the panel, which means the court will not work on Thursday.
